I come from a combined background of local newspaper journalism and ecommerce copywriting. As a writer for Artful Dog I provide a variety of content for our clients and have editorial responsibility for the quarterly magazine TResearch for Teagasc.

Although I am a native English speaker, I’m fluent in Norwegian and my professional writing career began in Norway; I write in Nynorsk, the smaller of the two official languages, and one I’m always willing to champion and promote.

Outside of work, my interests are probably your standard English Lit grad’s: books, films, music, and I try to pen the occasional album or film review to keep my skills sharp.

While I can’t quite top Ross’s claims of being label mates with the Rolling Stones, one of my old high school bands did – oddly enough – play several concerts in Mozambique as part of a musical education festival.
